What to Expect During Your Parent Tour

Visiting Northwood Cottage School is an opportunity to experience our learning community firsthand and gain a deeper understanding of our approach to education.

During your tour, you will be guided through our classrooms and learning spaces, where you can observe how our teachers support students in mixed-age, inquiry-based environments. You’ll see how academic instruction, collaboration, and hands-on learning come together throughout the school day.

We encourage parents to come with questions and curiosity as you explore whether NCS is the right fit for your family.

Preparing for Your Visit

To help ensure a focused and informative experience:

  • Parent tours are for adults only

  • Tours last approximately 45 minutes

  • All new families are required to attend a tour as part of the admissions process

We encourage you to arrive with any questions about curriculum, student experience, or admissions.
